Hi! I'm Jaime

Pronouns: She/Her

Thank you for taking the time to consider your own healing.  I admire the Japanese art of Kintsugi because it honors that when we break, we can heal and be even more precious and whole.  We can learn to heal the wounds, respect the scars, and find beauty in a life rebuilt.  In therapy we can work together to find our peace, address our inner needs, and find new ways of being and doing.

Combat Veteran and Social Worker

When asked about her therapeutic approach, Jaime describes herself as Person-Centered, and does not believe in “one size fits all” therapy. Instead, adhering to the belief that the ultimate goal of any successful therapy should reside in assisting the client continue toward self-actualization. Jaime prides herself on applying different theories and intervention techniques to adapt and fit the unique needs of each of her clients. Influenced by both Pragmatic and Humanistic Schools of Thought, Jaime’s Theoretical Orientation incorporates Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Strategic Eclecticism, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Adapting to each client’s specific learning style and therapeutic history, Jaime takes the time to understand what has not worked previously and focuses her time and efforts on what the client likes and what might work now. Jaime’s goal is to establish a mutual therapeutic rapport to deliver solid evidenced-based therapies (EBT) to support each client’s goals.

Working primarily as a virtual therapist, Jaime holds her Telemental Health (TMH) sessions via a HIPAA compliant platform. Previously relocated from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Jaime has provided an array of outpatient services to clients with Serious and Persistent Mental Illnesses (SPMI), is a United States Army Combat Veteran, military spouse, mom of two kiddos, and enjoys gardening with her rambunctious puppy.
