Hi! I'm Wendy!
Pronouns: She/Her
I am so glad you are here and ready to start your therapy journey!

I am a Masters in Social Work intern (graduate Spring 2024) and also have graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Psychology. Becoming a therapist is my second career after time spent in Silicon Valley, tech, energy economics, and sustainable investing. I am excited to make this transition into a new career field.
Why I'm a Social Worker
I love helping clients transform and derive strength from pain and suffering. I wholeheartedly believe that patina on a person is beautiful. I get great joy in being able to assist my clients come to love themselves and the life they are living. I believe we all deserve to have someone to engage with that has our best interest at heart and it able to assist us in becoming who we want to be. I am proud to be that person for my clients.

My own personal experiences make me excited to work with people with disabilities and chronic health conditions. I trained as a Mechanical Engineer (and Mathematician) and was once quite enamored with Heat Transfer). I have lived in Hong Kong, Guatemala, Germany, Canada, and both coasts in the U.S.
